How Bleach Allowed Works
The empty triangle is a legacy permission — modern dyes and elastic fibers have made chlorine bleach rare-safe. Chlorine whitens aggressively but degrades fibers with repeated use (the reason old t-shirts tear). Oxygen bleach (sodium percarbonate — the "color-safe" powders) handles most whitening without the fiber damage; the triangle's permission is not an obligation.
